Forbes Business Awards 2022: myPOS Leads the Way as Company of the Year

myPOS is among the best companies in Bulgaria according to the prestigious Forbes Business Awards. The prize Company of the Year in the finance sector was presented to myPOS during the Forbes gala celebration in Sofia last night. Historically, the finance category of the Forbes Business Awards is one of the toughest with many organizations competing to grab the valued prize.

Company of the Year is the highest recognition of the Forbes Business Awards. Organizations competing for this prize were evaluated based on their competitive advantages, product innovation, customer service and multiple other factors. In the finance sector, the final round made NEXO, Payhawk and myPOS. The eight-member jury, comprised of respected experts from Bulgarian and international companies, awarded a joint first place to myPOS and Payhawk.

The Forbes ceremony is one of the most important business events in Bulgaria. It strives to showcase the best business practices and recognize top examples of entrepreneurial spirit. About 200 representatives of the largest companies in Bulgaria attended the gala, held at Hyatt Regency Sofia.

Forbes is known for its rankings and is one of the oldest business media, with more than 100 years behind its back. Its recognition is desired by every company and certainly means a lot to myPOS. The Company of the Year award is second for the fintech this year – in March, myPOS won the Best Use of Mobile award from the UK FSTech Awards for its myPOS Glass solution, which turns Android phones into POS terminals.
