myPOS Named Company of the Year by Forbes

myPOS has emerged as the big winner at the twelfth edition of the Forbes Business Awards. The company won the award for the best company in the finance sector for the second year in a row. In addition, myPOS was crowned Company of the Year.

The coveted prize was accepted by myPOS CEO Maxim Kochnev, who thanked his colleagues for making myPOS what it is today.

“I can promise that we are just getting started and we are aiming very high,” he said at the ceremony held at the Hyatt Regency Sofia in Bulgaria.

The Forbes Business Awards recognise achievements in the most successful sectors of the economy, including finance, information and communication technologies, trade, manufacturing, and services. The winner from each of these sectors, receiving the most points from the jury, is awarded the big award Company of the Year. The evaluation of each participating company is carried out by an eight-member jury comprising successful entrepreneurs.

More than 110 companies competed for the awards, which were given out in 11 categories. The finalists in the finance category were myPOS, Payhawk and MFG, with the award going to myPOS.

“Receiving this recognition for the second year in a row gives us even greater motivation to stay true to our mission and continue to help SMEs pursue their dreams. I thank the jury for recognising myPOS as a symbol of real entrepreneurship. The Forbes Business Awards gala is one of the most prestigious business events in Bulgaria. The recognition from the respected business brand, with over 100 years of history, is yet another award for myPOS this year. Recently, the company also won the Point of Sale Innovation Award from the international organisation FinTech Breakthrough
