myPOS Partners with CONECS to Enable Meal Voucher Payments in France

announcements / 18.03.2025

The aim of this strategic partnership is to broaden the range of payment solutions available to businesses and to meet the needs of more than 5 million users of meal vouchers in France. Restaurant vouchers are accepted by around 220,000 restaurants and retailers throughout the country, and the paperless version is becoming increasingly popular.

myPOS announces its strategic partnership with Conecs, the technical operator managing meal voucher transactions (Edenred, Groupe Up, Pluxee, Swile, etc.). Through this collaboration, myPOS merchants can now instantly accept meal voucher payments – preferred by 86% of the French population*. In France, 5.4 million employees use meal vouchers every day, many of which are now digital. This shift is complemented by the rise of mobile payment solutions like Google Pay and similar services, which account for a growing share of transactions.

The digitalization of meal vouchers presents a dual advantage for businesses – boosting sales while simplifying administrative tasks. It also streamlines payment collection, reducing paperwork and administrative costs. Thanks to the myPOS-Conecs partnership, accepting these payments has never been easier, with seamless integration into existing myPOS terminals and full compatibility with major payment networks, including Mastercard, Visa, and Amex.

Florian Malvicino, myPOS Country Manager for France, commented: “We are delighted to be working with Conecs to offer our merchants an additional payment solution in line with the growing expectations of French consumers. This strategic alliance demonstrates our commitment to providing innovative solutions aimed at improving the payment experience for customers while simplifying the daily life of merchants”.

Fréderic AMSLER, CEO of Conecs, added: “The partnership between Conecs and myPOS marks a new stage in the development of the Conecs-labelled meal voucher, which is now accepted on all myPOS terminals installed in restaurants. Conecs is pleased to support myPOS in its development and to expand its acceptance network for the greater benefit of its customers’ meal voucher beneficiaries”.

Following the acquisition of Toporder – which allowed myPOS to integrate cash register solutions into its offering – this new partnership represents another key step in the company’s growth. By enabling restaurant voucher acceptance, myPOS further strengthens its presence in the HCR sector (Hotels, Cafés, and Restaurants), offering an increasingly comprehensive solution tailored to the needs of hospitality professionals.
